Location
Mt. Emei, pointed at 30 degree in north latitude, is seated at the transitional belt between the verge of southwest Sichuan Province and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, 120km away from Chengdu City in the north, and 38km apart from Leshan City in the east. The Mountain is originated from Beiling range of Mt. Kunlun, which divided into Qinling and Minshan Mountain. To Mt. Emei, 3 main peaks, as 3,079m-high Jinding, Qianfoding and 3,099m-high Wanfoding Peaks, have been erecting at the place between Daduhe River and Qingyi River. Including the whole area of Daeshan Mountain and part of Ere Mountain and Sie Mountain, the total area of Mt Emei reaches up to 623sq.m, and the area of the leading scenic spots is 154sq.m, as well as the traveling route is more than 60km.

Airway: Mt. Emei is 120km away from Chengdu Shuangliu Int’l Airport, linked by expressway for 90min by drive. The Airport is available to provide domestic and int’l flight service.
Railway: Emei Railway Station is the indispensable transit on the way to Kunming City, such as K145, K113 and K165 from Chengdu to Kunming, as well as K117 from Chengdu to Panzhihua. Emei Railway Station is 10km away from Mt. Emei, 15min by drive.
Expressway: At Xinnanmen Coach Terminal in Chengdu City, the coach to Mt. Emei and Leshan City shall be dispatched every 30min with RMB35 yuan fare and around 2h for journey. At Leshan Coach Terminal, the coach to Mt. Emei shall be dispatched every 10min with RMB8 yuan fare and around 30min for journey.
